I have always been interested in printmaking, i.e. Linoleum Block and Monoprints. My Xerox Copy Art is included in the Library of Congress National Museum of Women in the Arts archives. I explored Monoprints, and Solar Plate printing, during my Skidmore Summer-6 Fellowship, and Block printing at Weir Farm. Recently, I have been experimenting with a new form of Monoprinting using reusable Gelli Plates creating hand-pulled monotype prints and eliminating the need for a large printing press. I enjoy using natural objects such as tree leaves to create textures and enhancing the embossment using colored pencil.
